Your tasks
The Infrastructure & Systems Engineering team, part of the Technology division of i3D.net
works closely with our core product groups to design, architecture, deploy and operate
systems aligned with our company values and the best experience possible for our
customers.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building and operating Linux-
based systems that fit the product needs and provide the best experience possible for
our customers. You will be asked to find solutions, overcome technical challenges and
come up with designs that ensure our products remain sustainable, competitive and
provide an amazing experience of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, monitor and maintain Linux-based systems as part of agile product teams;
  • Contribute to product groups evolution by bringing new ideas, proposing improvements;
  • Coach, support and guide other members of the team, help improve general knowledge and expertise on Linux systems engineering;
  • Diagnose and perform complex troubleshooting of systems when issues arise during operations;
  • Document and track work done, build, update and maintain knowledge base articles.

Your Skills
  • Strong experience of the Linux OS ecosystem (Kernel, file systems, security)
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure and Workflow as Code systems (Ansible, Terraform, SaltStack)
  • Experience with CICD pipelines and systems (Jenkins, GitLab, Git)
  • Experience with Python, Golang, Bash, Powershell and ArgoCD languages
  • Experience with containerization (Kubernetes/DockerSwarm), virtualization (KVM / Proxmox) and cloud-native application or system design;
  • Experience with security best practices and secrets management (firewall, Hashicorp Vault, SAML SSO);
  • Experience with modern system development tooling (JIRA, Confluence, Gitlab); 
Nice to have
  • Experience with Storage technology knowledge (Ceph, VAST, VSAN)
  • Experience with modern database systems (InfluxDB, MariaDB, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with vendor relationship management
